Collection notice

This is the collection notice for receiving reports on misconduct and public interest disclosures.

The Commission collects this information for:

  • receiving reports on misconduct and public interest disclosures as governed by the Parliamentary Workplace Standards and Integrity Act 2024 (Vic) (PWSI Act)
  • receiving enquiries
  • collating de-identified research data.

We may share this information:

  • as required to perform our functions under the PWSI Act, however we will contact you before we do this (if you provide us with contact details)
  • to seek confidential legal advice
  • as required by law to refer the matter to another integrity agency.

Where lawful and practicable you may remain anonymous when interacting with the Commission, no identifying details will be collected.

If you choose not to provide identifiable personal contact information, we will only be able to contact you via the Elker reporting system. We may not be able to fully investigate your report or respond to your query, and we may not be able to contact you for further questions.

The Commission is collecting and storing your information in line with the Victorian Information Privacy Principles and the Privacy and Data Protection Act 2014 (Vic).
